How do I purchase tickets?

Purchasing tickets on ComedyPass is simple:

  1. Find an event you'd like to attend
  2. Select the number of tickets you want
  3. Click "Add to Cart"
  4. Proceed to checkout and complete your payment
  5. You'll receive your tickets via email instantly

Are there any additional fees when buying tickets?

We believe in transparent pricing. The ticket price displayed includes all service fees and taxes, so there are no surprises at checkout. What you see is what you pay.

Can I get a refund if I can't attend the event?

Refund policies are set by the event producers themselves. Most events allow refunds up to 48 hours before the show starts, but please check the specific event page for detailed refund information. If you need assistance with a refund, please contact us at support@comedypass.co.

Do I need to print my tickets?

No, you don't need to print anything. All tickets are digital and can be shown on your smartphone. Simply open the email we send you and show the QR code to the venue staff when you arrive.

What if an event is canceled or rescheduled?

If an event is canceled, you will automatically receive a full refund. For rescheduled events, your tickets will remain valid for the new date. You'll receive email notifications about any changes to your events, with options to request a refund if you can't make the new date.

How do I find comedy shows near me?

Our home page automatically shows events near your location. You can also use the search feature to find shows by location, date, or type of comedy. We recommend creating an account to get personalized recommendations based on your preferences.

How do I list my comedy events on ComedyPass?

Getting started is easy:

  1. Create a producer account at comedypass.co/for-producers
  2. Complete your producer profile with venue and business details
  3. Set up your payment information
  4. Create and publish your first event

Once approved, your events will be visible to comedy fans in your area and beyond.

What are the fees for using ComedyPass as a producer?

ComedyPass charges a competitive 5% service fee on ticket sales. There are no monthly fees or hidden costs. This fee covers payment processing, customer service, marketing, and platform maintenance. You receive payments for ticket sales directly to your account, minus our fee.

How do I get paid for ticket sales?

We use Stripe for secure payment processing. During onboarding, you'll connect your bank account through Stripe. Funds are transferred automatically based on your chosen payout schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly). You can track all sales and payments in your producer dashboard.

Can I manage multiple venues or shows?

Absolutely! Your producer account can manage multiple venues, shows, and comedy series. You can also add team members with different permission levels to help manage your events.

What marketing tools are available to promote my events?

ComedyPass provides several tools to help promote your events:

  • Shareable event links for social media
  • Customizable event pages with media and descriptions
  • Email marketing to local comedy fans
  • Featured placement opportunities on our homepage

How do I check in attendees at my events?

Our mobile-friendly check-in system makes it easy to validate tickets at the door. Simply use our producer app to scan the QR code on each ticket. You can also print an attendee list if you prefer manual check-in.
